Welcome to KANARUSHA

Kanarusha opened in autumn 2004 in Fuchu City, which is 30 minutes away from downtown Tokyo.
We offer Japanese antiques (mainly tansu(chest) from the Meiji era), and we repair and renovate antique chest (tansu) and furniture at our workshop.
We pass on handmade, historical "things that have been taken good care of by people" to "people who take good care of things" as we pass the baton.

Information

Early Summer Event 2019
- A variety of Japanese antique furniture -

From May 25th [Sat] to June 2nd , 2019 ALL 20% OFF!! *

Early Summer Event will be held from May.25 to June.2 2019 at KANARUSHA in Fuchu, Tokyo.
Stepping into the world of Japanese furniture “Tansu” - chests/cabinets - created over 100 years ago, would know that those designs, usage, and materials are richly varied by region, age or their first owners. Graceful Kimono Tansu of Yonezawa region with cherry blossom ornaments brings a neat Japanese ambience to the living room, and exquisitely decorated metal work of Sado Tansu brings very Japanese essence to everyday life. Antique Japanese Tansu, which were created based on the sensitivities of people of many regions, they are telling us the one-of-a-kind beauty of Japanese design by each and always gives us new findings. We hope you would enjoy the world of Japanese antique furniture at Kanarusha.
